Growing up it became apparent that Rissy had no affinity for magic, which can be attributed to her limited ability to manipulate aether. Anything more than the most basic of spells was doomed to failure. He father, knowing that she will never be among the mages of the tribe, encouraged that she stick to the more martial of studies. On her 16th birthday she was sent out to the far east to seek out training with whomever would be wiling to teach her. Experiment with various styles she became rather fond of a curved blade to which she later learned was called a "Katana". A fellow swordsman which who she was training along side suggest that if she wanted to improve her skill with such a blade that she should travel to Kugane where the people of the Sekiseigum practiced the way of the samurai. She was accepted into their ranks and spent the next decade in the service of Kuganes "police force" in order to master her newfound profession. Late one evening a moogle flew up and presented Rissy with a note that said "Father is dead, please come home" and in that instant she packed up her things and without saying a word besides a note left to her bunkmate, she hopped on the first chocobo she could grab and flew home. Durring the months that followed Rissy became growingly uncomfortable with being home as rumors grew and spread about the way her father died. Being the eldest, she took it upon herself to do the only "right" thing she could think of and she took her sisters and left the striped hills for someplace new that they could call home. Its been roughly 3 years since that day and the trio have settled a little place called the "Goblet" in Thanalan along with Oni's mate Killpond and Daughter Xion.
